MMSC: AI-based affective computing systems for health, prevention and sports applications

Session Sports for health. Public health guidelines and implementation – Exercise prescription

Abstract:

The monitoring of wellbeing and health states in sports is typically achieved through a manual diagnostics procedure relying heavily on time-consuming, subjective methods. Such procedures can be costly, liable to subjective biases and therefore often inaccurate. The affective computing based automatic monitoring of psychological and physical health states based on audio-video- and biosignals might overcome these flaws. The derived insights might include the monitoring of fatigue, depression, burnout, exhaustion, pain or having a cold.
