Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children is a rare but serious complication of SARS-COV-2 infection in the pediatric population. The process appears to be immune-mediated, but the precise pathogenic cascade is still under study. The talk will review what is currently known about MIS-C and future research questions and directions.
