The lecture will discuss the gender-biased incidents of COVID-19 infection. There has been a continuous debate about the status of infection among males and females. This includes even some clinical reports. All these studies direct towards the involvement of sex-specific hormones, which may play an (in)direct role in enhancing or reducing the severity of the infection. This aspect needs detailed deliberations using various experimental setups to draw conclusive evidence about it.
