Over the years, we have been working towards predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory healthcare. A conversational interface (CUI) is a user interface for computers and machines that mimics interaction with humans. Particularly in healthcare, CUIs allow patients broad access to diagnostics and treatment when a real human doctor is not accessible or needed. On the other hand, health professionals get a simplified interaction with machines and AI-backed software to enable their daily work effectively.
Overall, CUIs provide an enormous potential to shape the end-users (healthy or sick) behavior and help to promote better health practices. Such attentive and thorough care using artificial human responses represents a new horizon of personalized healthcare.
In our session at MEDICA, game-changing founders alongside the leading experts in UX/UI design and product development will be discussing various existing boundaries and further challenges in conversational interaction in digital health. The session’s distinguished speakers will share examples based on their practice and experience to highlight does and don’ts in building and applying CUIs in health and care. In addition to this, we will address the new frontiers and opportunities in how to design and build the evolving healthcare environment and what technologies we might employ in digital health in the coming years.
