Brig Gen Tarif Bader
Israel Defence Forces, Former Surgeon General
Graduating from the medical school of Ben Gurion University in Beer-Sheva in 1993, and joined the Medical Corps of the Israel Defense Forces. He served in various units as medical officer in a Battalion, a Brigade and a Special Forces unit.
Since 2013 he is an instructor and senior lecturer in the faculty of medicine at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.
In 2020 Dr. Bader received the "Vision Badge" in Medicine From the Druze heritage Center in Israel for his outstanding contribution for the improvement of the military medicine and for his Humanitarian work. Dr Bader is a famous lecturer locally and internationally for Combat Military Medicine, Humanitarian Missions, Medical Leadership and Emergency Preparedness. Since October 2020 Dr. Bader works at the Ministry of Health as the Head of the Administrative Division for the Preparedness of the Israeli Health System.
